Wishing Doesn’t Make it So

I appreciate that you sold more books than you expected to. (Yay! This is always a pleasant surprise!)

But there are certain restrictions that I cannot afford to overcome. You were informed, from the start, that we need at least two weeks advance notice to ensure that you have your books for an event. With time required to print and ship the books to you, we simply cannot do it any faster.

Books are not PowerPoint presentations. We cannot simply go down to the local Staples or Fedex Office and get more printed on demand.

Reality sucks. But that’s how it works.
